First Cast Flies Extendo Hollow Fly
Extended body 12” hollow fleye.
Tied on 8/0 hook. Extension with shanks rather than mono.
My favorite way to fish these flies is on a 10wt with full sink fly line. Two handed stripping them at high speeds will be sure to elicit some explosive eats.
About the maker:
I'm Fred, the owner and manager of First Cast Flies. I didn't have the traditional pathway into fly fishing that most do. I started on my own, at 21 years old, having never fished before. I jumped right into fly fishing, and I was adamant that the first fish I caught would be on a fly that I tied, and it was.
